How is TOUGH different to other training providers?

Yes, many of our training courses are designed to replace traditional mandatory trainings and come with audit-ready certifications. We also offer additional safety training content to raise awareness even further.

TOUGH offers modular packages with different functionalities, tailored to your company’s needs. Additionally, our team can demonstrate in a short digital meeting which training courses fit your requirements, roles, and languages – including sample scenarios and integration into your existing processes.

Yes. Depending on the number of employees you want to train with TOUGH, we offer tailored solutions for your company. You can also train with TOUGH without having e-mail-adresses for your employees. There is no complex IT-Setup required.

Our trainings can be used across borders in over 45 languages, including text-to-speech. TOUGH runs as a browser application, so no downloads or integrations are needed in international teams.

Immediately. After purchasing in the online store, employees can start directly in the browser – no installation required. Custom company-specific scenarios usually take 1-3 months to develop.

After a brief requirements meeting, TOUGH develops the content iteratively and coordinates it through reviews (online or on-site) until approval. The goal: fast implementation and customized learning objectives.

If you need specific trainings, we tailor existing trainings to your needs or develop something new from scratch. This option is included in our enterprise package. Here you can reach out to our sales team to get more information. We would love to help!

There is no limit to the number of employees you want to train.  Each license is connected to one account per employee, and you can upgrade the number any time you want. If you need help to set up larger groups, our team is here to help.

Admins can assign access to workers and employees. You can simply add new users via mail or with Company ID. Employees receive a link to activate or you can set up the platform over designated devices to give workers access to your trainings.

Our Trainings usually take between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the subject and regulations covered. Each course is divided into up to 5 learning units. Completed learning units are saved so that your employees do not have to start all over again until they have completed the whole training.

Yes, the control system is deliberately simple and explained in a clear, targeted way before starting. User feedback is continuously incorporated into usability improvements, making it suitable even for users who are less experienced with gaming.

No. Evaluations are aggregated, and individual personal data is not shared.

TOUGH keeps content up to date and regularly adapts training courses to new requirements. Updates happen automatically and are included at no extra cost during the access period.

Yes. Upon successful completion, participants automatically receive a certificate which is also deployed in the admin dashboard. Those certificates are audit-ready and can be used as documentation.

Can I try TOUGH before making a decision?

If you want to check out our trainings and have a test on our platform, please contact our sales team. We are happy to help and to let you try out our trainings.

Our pricing is simple. We only charge for employees you actually want to train. Prices go from 99 to 159 € per access.
Each user has access to all trainings for 6 months.

Yes, access can be flexibly assigned or revoked as long as it has not been used. Once a course has started, the access is considered consumed and cannot be transferred.

Each access is valid for 6 months. Each access is purchased once. No strings attached. Our licenses do not automatically renew.

No minimum purchase is required. Simply start with a single access.

Yes, graduated prices from certain volumes and project conditions for Enterprise are possible. 

The costs per access are transparently tiered (see pricing overview). Custom developments are priced based on scope and effort. We recommend a brief consultation for a tailored offer.

Includes access to the training, updates within the validity period, support, and reporting based on your package. Optional custom developments are available.

Our platform is self-explanatory. But if you have any questions, you can use our support feature to get help anytime. We also offer admin briefings to get a headstart.

We currently accept payment by invoice or SEPA direct debit.

Yes, the purchase creates a B2B service contract in accordance with the GTC/EULA and product description. Access is limited in time (6 months). 

You don’t have to. Every access is active for 6 months. No cancellation is required. If you want to have longer contracts with us, please reach out to our sales team to get a custom offer for our enterprise solution.

The rights and scope of use are agreed bilaterally. Usual: internal usage rights for the customer; reuse by TOUGH only after express approval. 

No – we keep your trainings up to date with no additional costs.

Hardware

Do we need to purchase new laptops or PCs?

No special hardware is required for the web version; up-to-date Windows or Mac computers and standard tablets with keyboard and mouse are sufficient.

No. VR is additional. The web version runs entirely in the browser. 

Yes, TOUGH recommends suitable devices/setups on request and answers practical questions. 

No. TOUGH does not sell any hardware, but is happy to assist you with the selection. 

One device and one access are required per person being trained at the same time. Several employees can take turns on the same device, each using their own access.

Yes, a personal access can be used on multiple devices (e.g., laptop and tablet), but not simultaneously.

No. The web version starts in the browser – without installation. 

The following minimum requirements apply for using our software:

  • Processor: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1245U, 1600 MHz, 10 cores, 12 logical processors

  • Memory: 16 GB RAM

On which operating systems does TOUGH run?

On all common operating systems via browser or web app. 

Yes, access is not location-specific and can be assigned flexibly – ideal for distributed teams. 

Our Trainings are available in 45 and more languages. We constantly expand our quantity and quality of text-to-speech.

No. „Self-development“ is not provided. Individual adaptations are possible in the Enterprise model. 

We constantly check our software and content for quality. We have designated experts who make sure that our trainings are up to date and aligned with current regulations.

Learning and usage data is processed securely and reported in aggregated/anonymized form. TOUGH does not use individual personal data for other purposes. 

Yes, TOUGH is browser-based; a stable internet connection is required. 

We offer support directly over our platform. We also assist by email and phone.

Right now, this is not possible. But we love to help you with your request. If you need something specifically tailored for you, contact our sales team.

Yes, this is possible. For even better immersion and therefore results, we can do customizations for logos, colors, PPA, documents and much more. This service is limited to our enterprise customers.

Yes. Our trainings can simulate every weather condition: sun, rain, snow, during the day and at night.
